Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical Subject Matter Expert to deliver high-quality technical training. This person would also be responsible for performing client Job Task Analysis visits to help scope the training needs for each facility. This independent contractor role is perfect for a skilled maintenance professional who has a heart for helping others, enjoys traveling, and is passionate about training and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach hands-on technical training classes in areas such as:
  • Industrial Electrical
  • Mechanical Systems
  • Pneumatics & Hydraulics
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Other core maintenance skills (as applicable to expertise)
• Lead Job Task Analysis visits in manufacturing plants across the country.
• Communicate effectively with plant managers and technicians to ensure training success.
• Travel to various manufacturing sites to provide on-site training and consulting.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Pneumatics & Hydraulics
• Passion for teaching and coaching maintenance teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel frequently for training classes and JTA visits.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of working independently.
